This is genuine sheep leather — noticeably softer and lighter than
cowhide, with a fine grain that moulds to you as you wear it. No stiff
break-in period; it feels good from day one.

It arrives with the natural scent of real hide. That smell is completely
normal — it's how you know it isn't synthetic — and it fades over the
first few weeks. Hanging it in a well-ventilated room, or outdoors in
the shade for a few hours, speeds it up.

Natural grain variation, small surface marks and slight differences in
shade are part of real leather, not defects. Sheep leather is soft by
nature, so light marks settle into character over time.
